BUGS After-School Clubs Scholarship Guidelines
BUGS will offer a limited number of scholarships to qualified families for participation in the after-school clubs. Qualification for scholarship aid is based jointly on available funds and on families meeting the criteria for need-based support. The option to request scholarship aid is included on the After-School Club Enrollment Application.
Scholarships will be 25% - 100% reduced tuition for 1-4 clubs/week a semester.
Families will be required to pay the $20 annual registration fee.
Qualification for scholarships is based on expressed and proven need. To evaluate the extent of the need, we will review student’s Free and Reduced Price Lunch information.
Once complete applications are received and processed, and a decision made, families will be notified via a letter home and by email. Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis, in the order received, at the beginning of each semester.
Award letters will contain the amount the family is required to pay (if anything), options for payment and an agreement form with attendance and behavioural stipulations.
