8th Grade Dance - DONATIONS & CHAPERONES NEEDED

PLEASE SIGN UP AND SEND IN FOOD AND PIZZA $ DONATIONS
(non perishables can be sent in early!!)

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., BUGS 8th grade students will participate in a Dance at the school at the school to celebrate their accomplishments as their academic time at BUGS is completed. The theme of the Dance is The Great Gatsby. Ms. Anika Yasin (Science Teacher) is organizing the dance.

The BUGS PTA is assisting with this event by coordinating donations of pot luck food, pizza money and decoration supplies. We are also adding sign up slots to volunteer your time. Chaperones are needed and we ask you to volunteer for a slot during the hours of 5:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. You do not have to be the parent of an 8th grader to volunteer! Calling all grade families to volunteer their time and talents. It's probably easier to chaperone other people's kids than your own too!

There are approximately 85 8th graders.

The PTA will order 12 pizzas and is asking for financial donations to pay for these. Our goal is to raise $250 to pay for pizza and any paper goods and decorations that are not donated. Cash donations can be sent in with your child in an envelope to Ms. Lacresha in the main office. Please let us know via email when you send in a financial donation so we can be on the look out for it. Any amount is appreciated ($5, $10, $20??).

Non perishable food items and paper goods can be dropped off in advance at the school. Bring them to the main office.

Perishable food items should be brought to the school on the day of the dance.

Please avoid any donations that contain nuts.
