PTA Meetings

PTA Meetings will take place the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the cafeteria unless otherwise noted.

Students bring your parents and receive a No Uniform Day Pass!                                                                                                                  Click below to see full PTA meeting schedule and minutes.

Konstella - konnect Parents

To help keep everyone informed in the most effective way possible, the BUGS PTA is now utilizing a new communications system called Konstella. This system will allow the PTA and the school administration to reach the school community digitally and on the go. The system has many features which we hope that you will take advantage of such as committee signups, parent groups, class parent center, calendaring, and announcements.

Funds donated to the PTA go into the annual budget providing support for and building community with BUGS school activities.

Last year we provided:

  • Pizza snacks at the general monthly meetings

  • Supplemented teacher appreciation meals during student led conferences

  • Hosted the author/illustrator day for students and purchased books for classroom libraries

  • Provided food for the valentine's day dance

  • Hosted an outside speaker/consultant presentation at a PTA general meeting on the NYC high school search and application process

  • Hosted a teacher appreciation breakfast/beauty bar/chair massage morning

  • Assisted with additional food items for the 8th grade dance marking the end of their time at BUGS.
