Tentative Spring Schedule
This PDF of the tentative spring schedule includes clickable links to program info.
The After-School Schedule is Monday-Friday, from 2:55-5:45 p.m. as well as select half days and Holidays. Since the IACRL @ BUGS after-school program is a COMPASS/SONYC program, it must incorporate both academic and recreational enrichment. All students are required to actively participate in two (2) hours of Leadership and one (1) hour of STEM activities each week in conjunction with our extracurricular clubs. A portion of the program will also provide homework help, tutoring, and study hall sessions.
There are 100 slots available on a first-come, first-served basis to students who have submitted completed applications. Attendance is imperative for funding, therefore students must commit to attend after-school at least 75% of the time. We will also maintain a waitlist.
Extracurricular clubs may include Studio Art, Film, Track, Cooking, Green Girls, Basketball, Soccer, and Arts and Crafts (subject to change). We anticipate being able to post our tentative 2023-2024 schedule the week of August 21.
A Completed Application includes:
Submitting the online DYCD Connect form
Providing the BUGS After-School Director with a copy of birth certificate and medical form
Submitting the BUGS supplemental application (will be sent to families through TeacherEase)

about after-school attendance
Student attendance is imperative for funding; therefore, students are expected to attend on a consistent basis as much as possible in order to maintain a slot in the program. If your child has not attended regularly they will jeopardize their enrollment status and will be dropped from the program. Please inform the program director of any projected absences.

After-school Holiday Camp
