Ana Maria Bast serves as Associate General Counsel at Danone North America, a leading food and beverage company in the U.S. She previously worked as VP, Commercial Counsel at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., a public company and member of the S&P 500. Prior to that, Ana worked at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in their Capital Markets and Latin America practice groups. Ana earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and law degree from Fordham University School of Law. She brings to BUGS her expertise as a lawyer as well as her experience in corporate governance, finance, and commercial contracting. Ana has a deep commitment to the BUGS community and philosophy. She previously served on the BUGS PTA, including as Co-President, and is the proud mother to a BUGS alumna and to a current BUGS student.
Ana serves as Trustee on the BUGS Board and also serves on the Nominating & Governance Committee as well as the Education & Accountability Committee.
