NIA After School Program @ BUGS

Registration for the NIA FREE after-school program for 2026-27 will open soon. See below for more information about the enrollment process.

Program Dates: September 8, 2026 - June 11th, 2027

Program Hours: Monday–Friday | 2:55 PM – 6:00 PM 

The NIA FREE after-school program is funded through DYCD and provides students with a safe, engaging, and enriching environment after school.

Some of our activities include:

  • Homework Help

  • Fashion Sustainability

  • DIY Art

  • Photography

  • Cooking & Culinary Activities

  • STEM Activities

  • Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Other Sports

In addition, we offer weekly clubs based on student interests, including:

  • Gaming Club

  • Girls Lead Initiative

  • Zine Club

  • Chess Club

  • And many more!

Throughout the year, students also have opportunities to participate in exciting trips, special events, family engagement activities, and unique learning experiences. 

Enrollment Information

At this time, DYCD has not yet released the registration application for the upcoming school year. NIA has been informed that registration is expected to go live by next Friday, August 21. As soon as applications become available, NIA will send BUGS families an email containing:

  • A direct application link

  • QR codes for easy access

  • Additional enrollment instructions

NIA es un proveedor reconocido de programas extraescolares de alta calidad y una organización de servicios sociales con sede en Brooklyn.
