Enrollment Info

2019 - 2020 School Year

Welcome to the BUGS family! What makes our innovative sustainability curriculum and hands-on approach to learning so special is you! We are excited to welcome students who share our passion for environmental, social, and economic sustainability and want to be part of a community committed to building a more just and sustainable world.

The lottery was held on Thursday, April 11th at 10AM. Families have been notified about lottery results by text and email. Information is also being mailed to all families who submitted lottery applications and should be received during the week of April 15.

We will begin student enrollment in early May 2019. Once you accept your seat at BUGS, we will contact you with additional enrollment information.

If you have questions, please contact us at admissions@BUGSbrooklyn.org, or 718-280-9556 ext.599.

Enrollment is ongoing, and you must have an appointment.

  • Appointments will be available:

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-11am

    • Wednesday, 2pm-4pm

    • Tuesday and Thursday 7:30am-10:30am and 3-6pm

  • If you have been offered a seat, we will send you the online link to make an appointment.

  • Please allow for at least one hour of your time to complete the enrollment process.

  • We will have a Spanish speaking staff member available – just let us know or indicate when you sign up.

  • Your child does not have to come to the appointment.

  • You will need a working email address in order to complete your child’s enrollment.

If you have access to the internet, you will be able to complete most of the online forms before your appointment. If you have access to a printer, you can also print out the required forms and bring them to the appointment completed. This will make your appointment shorter. However, if you don’t have access to the internet or a printer, you can do the entire process at BUGS – it will just take a bit longer (1-1.5 hours).
